Mathetes is a Greek word which means disciple.  We are all disciples of something in our lives, whether we realize it or not.  

In your life, think about the people you follow, you admire, you listen to.  What things do you follow? Do you run after each new idea that comes along?  Are you influenced by the ideas and comments of your friends and peers?

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.  I gave my life to Him when I was 13 years old.  You can know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, and you can become a disciple of Him, too.
